The Week in Pictures

by The Girl

Pretty Little Liars – S01E21 “Monsters in the End”

Finally Emily gets someone worthy of her! and I’m not talking about the guy in the purple suit. If only the same could be said about Spencer…

Chicago Code – S01E06 “The Gold Coin Kid”

That Superintendent hat cracks me up.

Skins (US) – S01E09 “Tina”

I’m still confused how this episode about an adult good was actually good. It was so funny! Who would have thought! I want Tina to hang out with the kids more often!

The Event – S01E13 “Turnabout”

Just another day grocery shopping with Taylor Cole.

Glee – S02E16 “Original Song”

Off the Map – S01E10 “I’m Home”

Skins – S05E08 “Everyone”

“Your girl crush is so blatant” come on, Mins. We all saw you wearing those suspenders.

Community – S02E18 “Custody Law and Eastern European Diplomacy”

The Britta & Troy/Abed storyline was ao amazing. Everything was so brilliant. “May.Be.We.Do.”

Parks & Recreation – S03E07 “Harvest Festival”

Bones – S06E16 “The Blackout in the Blizzard”

Did this episode seem really long to anyone else? (That’s why it got six caps)

Top 5: Places We’d Be Happy to Work

by The Boy Wonder

While we’re fans of  our day jobs, there are many employers we wouldn’t mind having in TV land.

The Girl:

  1. The Company (Heroes)
  2. Global Dynamics (Eureka)
  3. The Jeffersonian (Bones)
  4. Happy Time (Dead Like Me)
  5. The Dharma Initiative (Lost)

I’d like to be the “One of Them” at the Company, if you get my drift. This was unexpectedly one of the most difficult to whittle down to five, there are so many great places to choose from!

The Boy Wonder:

  1. Angel Investigations (Angel)
  2. The Pie Hole (Pushing Daisies)
  3. Wethersby, Posner & Klein (Eli Stone)
  4. Global Tech (No Ordinary Family)
  5. Merlotte’s (True Blood)

Living in a hotel was always a life goal of mine. Living in a hotel while fighting vampires would be even better!

The Week in Pictures

by The Girl

Pretty Little Liars – S01E20 “Someone To Watch Over Me”

What was going on this week? Aria & Emily were really funny! The tables have turned, Spencer/Hanna! Also, just pull out the flash drive & run! SHE’S BLIND!

Greek – S04E10 “Legacy”

I think everything I want to show is summed up here.

The Chicago Code – S01E05 “O’Leary’s Cow”

Namaste, and good luck.

Skins (US) – S01E08 – “Daisy”

omg it’s her actual sister! Abbud was actually funny! Something Anwar never pulled off

The Event – S01E11 “And Then There Were More”

The Buchanans are reunited. It’s awkward with the new information they have.

The Event – S01E12 “Inostranka”

Inostranka is invaded. Sean takes off.

Glee – S02E15 “Sexy”

BRITTANA. ENOUGH SAID. And by “enough said” I mean: Artie? Really? You’d choose Artie over Santana? Is this some kind of bizarro alternate reality? (Look at that, something I thought only Skins would accomplish: six caps)

Off The Map – S01E09 “There’s Nothing To Fix”

I for one, vote for more Minard/Clark interaction

The Big Bang Theory – S04E18 “The Prestidigitation Approximation”

Bones – S06E15 “The Killer in the Crosshairs”

Cam cut her hair! Staccato Mamba!

Skins (UK) – S05e07 “Grace”

omg I love Mini.

Degrassi – S10E38 “Jesus, Etc. Part 2”

KC & Jenna were not annoying for once. Clare was awesome as always

This Week’s Favorite Guest Stars

by The Girl

François Chau (Lost’s Dr. Pierre Chang) guest starred on The Chicago Code as the head of Chicago’s Chinatown, Chairman Lao.

Lee Thompson Young joined The Event as Corporal Bell. One of the Inostranka guards.

I literally laughed out loud when Zoie Palmer (Lauren from Lost Girl) showed up on Degrassi as a police officer. From one Canadian show to another!

GRΣΣK: The Final Episode

by The Girl

The series finale of Greek aired this past Monday on ABC Family and I seriously almost cried at least ten times. Man, I am going to miss the kids at Cyprus-Rhodes University.

This was the fourth season of Greek, which I think surprised everyone. That an ABC Family show could last that long & be pretty much great throughout its entirety. (It had its ups & downs, but what show doesn’t?) Here are a few examples of other shows that lasted four seasons:

  • The OC
  • Everwood
  • Battlestar Galactica
  • Felicity
  • Heroes (well, it kind of ended…?)
  • Ugly Betty
  • Ed

Pretty good company, yeah?

ABC Family recently announced that it will be opening up an additional night of original programming. Made possible by all the successful Pretty Little Liars & Secret Life of the American Teenagers. But Greek was really the show that kicked off the “new kind of family”‘s promising foray into original series television.

Here’s a quick look back (in pictures) at the series finale of Greek:

The last time we will hear that lovely little opening.

Hilarious times in the KT house. Anthony Hopkins yelling “spoiler alert!” to the Star Wars reference was hilarious:

Some great schemes that brought together our favorite KTs (Beaver, Heath, Cappie, Rusty) & non-KTs (Calvin, Ashleigh, Dale, Rebecca) to save the Kappa Tau house:

We got some classic Rusty-Cappie talks:

And some old familiar faces:

And of course there was the saddest moment.ever. The tearing down of the KT house:

One last Cartwright pow-wow on the ZBZ stairs:

A final goodbye with the gang as Casey & Cappie leave Cyprus-Rhodes. (Dale kissing Casey & the reactions was one of the funniest things in the episode)

I don’t know about you, but I’m going to miss all the plays on Evan’s name each week from Cappie. Going to Dobler’s every single night. Dale pushing up his glasses. Omega Chi/Kappa Tau duels. Fighting to be the number one house on campus. Rebecca being crazy. Casey & Ashleigh’s Laguna Beach/Hills references. Nicknames. Rush. Nationals always getting in the way. Katherine Parker. Rusty nerding out. And ALL the rest. It’s been fun, Greek!
